You may be familiar with pregnancy tumors, but they’re most likely not what you’d expect. With a bit of help from our team, you can thwart or treat pregnancy tumors, depending on your dental health. During pregnancy, some women can create “pregnancy tumors” on the soft tissues of their mouth. Fortunately, these “tumors” are not cancerous, but simply a swelling of the mouth’s soft tissue. Pregnancy tumors frequently advance between the pearly whites, and they usually occur sometime during the second trimester of pregnancy and disappear in the months following the baby’s birth. They normally have a red, raspberry-esque appearance to them, and they can bleed easily when touched or pressed.
Pregnancy tumors might be related to plaque buildup, so ensure that you’re brushing your chompers two times each day if you’re pregnant, and don’t forget to floss at least one time per day either. If you are troubled about pregnancy tumors, Drs. Kaveen and Schwab may be able to eliminate them. Get in contact with us now if you’re pregnant, and we’ll get working on a unique service plan for you now.
